Cinigiano is a village nestled in the countryside of the Maremma, at the foothills of Monte Amiata. It offers a beautiful route to fully enjoy the typical landscapes of the inland Maremma. Here, the hills rise from sea level to higher altitudes, creating a continuous alternation of Mediterranean scrub, forests, pastures, vineyards, olive groves, and centuries-old chestnut woods. The Cinigiano area is dotted with characteristic villages, such as Porrona with its medieval castle, parish church, and two stately villas, as well as the Aldobrandesque fortresses of Castiglioncello Bandini and Vicarello.
