• Day 1: Arrival in Siena. Check-in and accommodation in reserved rooms. Dinner*. Overnight stay.
• Day 2: Siena-Montalcino 53 km (33 mi) / 1170 m D+ (3839 ft)
  Out of the 53 km to be covered with an important difference in altitude of almost 1200 m, 30 km will be on dirt roads distributed in three different sections. And if the first two will be characterized by gentle undulations, the last one, the famous Castiglion del Bosco which in addition to the Eroica has seen the passage of the Giro d'Italia on several occasions, is uphill for 7 km with sections that exceed 10%. From Siena, the route enters Val di Merse and the contrast between its woods and the scenic landscapes of the sinuous clay hills of the Crete Senesi will be strong. After the small village of Bibbiano, we enter the territory of Brunello and Val d'Orcia, an area included in the UNESCO list as a World Heritage Site. Montalcino will be granted after the last intense effort with breathtaking landscapes. Arrival in Montalcino. Dinner* and overnight stay.
• Day 3: Montalcino-Asciano 60 km (37 mi) / 915 m D+ (3002 ft)
  The route is characterized by many kilometers of white road, 42 of the 60 km expected for the stage, and the difference in altitude that remains below 1000 m helps us. The 5 dirt roads to be faced are undulating and pleasant to cycle, only the last one with the passage from Monte Acuto presents uphill sections with slopes that exceed 10% but above all, a technically challenging descent with uneven road surface. From Montalcino, accompanied by vineyards and olive groves, we move east where Val d'Orcia leaves its wooded part and opens up to open and scenic landscapes typical of Tuscan postcards, where important films like Gladiator and The English Patient were shot. • Day 4: Asciano-Radda in Chianti 52 km (32 mi) / 1160 m D+ (3805 ft)
  52 kilometers but 1160 meters of difference in altitude, with 4 sectors and 25 km of dirt road, the first of which is Monte Sante Marie with truly challenging sections both uphill and downhill. The Monte Sante Marie sector is definitely the most iconic section of the Eroica, 11 km that take us from the Crete Senesi to Chianti and is also part of the famous professional race Strade Bianche and dedicated to a cycling legend like Fabian Cancellara for his three victories in this race that is now considered the sixth monument in the cycling world. Arrival in Radda in Chianti. Dinner* and overnight stay.
• Day 5: Radda in Chianti-Siena 42 km (26 mi) / 680 m D+ (2231 ft)
  This is the easiest leg of the trip in terms of distance and elevation, with only 7 km (4 mi) of technically easy dirt roads and only one steeper descent just after the Brolio Castle. The route takes place entirely within the Chianti Classico region, where Sangiovese vineyards will accompany us all the way to the gates of Siena. The passage through Gaiole in Chianti, the starting and finishing village of the Eroica, has a strong value for the journey, where we look to the past for a new idea of cycling made of a taste for effort and an appreciation of beauty, the flavors of the territory. Formula

SELF-GUIDED: This formula involves traveling the itinerary in complete autonomy, by yourself. We will provide you with all the documentation and the Komoot app to guide you. We will give you all the necessary tools to plan your trip and guide you along the route, so that you can fully enjoy the experience.

Rider level

LEVEL 1 - E-BIKE EXPLORER: This level is perfect for cyclists who want to explore the white roads of Eroica comfortably. You will cover between 25 and 40 km per day with a elevation gain of 800-1500m (depending on the days and itinerary) using an e-bike. The assistance of the e-bike will allow you to enjoy the views without the need for excessive effort during climbs.

LEVEL 2 - CHIANTI CRUISER: This level is suitable for cyclists who want to explore the white roads of Eroica without facing long distances or challenging climbs, even with muscle bikes (gravel, mountain bike, road bike). You will cover a maximum of 30-40 km per day with an elevation gain of 800-1200m (depending on the days and itinerary) using a conventional bicycle. Take your time to enjoy the views, taste the Tuscan cuisine, and discover the hidden gems of this paradise place.
